Product information (Abbott)
A milk-based powdered infant formula with iron, providing 20 Cal per fl oz when prepared as directed. Abbott positions it as an alternative to standard milk-based formulas.
Intended use & age guidance
Abbott describes it for fussiness, gas or mild spit-up due to lactose sensitivity, and as suitable for infants with lactose sensitivity (typical value 0.1 g lactose per 100 kcal, compared with 11 g in Similac Advance).

Ingredients & allergens
Corn Syrup, Milk Protein Isolate, High Oleic Safflower Oil, Sugar, Soy Oil, Coconut Oil. Less than 2% of: Schizochytrium Sp. Oil (source of DHA), M. Alpina Oil (source of ARA), Short-chain Fructooligosaccharides (prebiotic), Beta-Carotene, Lutein, vitamins, minerals, Soy Lecithin, Taurine, L-Carnitine, Mixed Tocopherols and Nucleotides. Preparation
- Follow directions carefully; proper hygiene, handling and storage matter. Ask the baby's doctor whether to use cooled, boiled water and whether to sterilise bottles and utensils.
- Wash hands, surfaces and utensils. Pour water into a clean bottle.
- Add 1 unpacked level scoop (8.8 g) for each 2 fl oz of water. Return the dry scoop to the can.
- Cap, shake well and attach a clean nipple. Once feeding begins, use within 1 hour or discard.
- A 12.5 oz container makes approximately 90 fl oz of formula when mixed as directed.
Storage & handling
- Once mixed, refrigerate bottles and feed within 24 hours.
- Store the container, opened or unopened, at room temperature; avoid extreme temperatures.
- Use opened can contents within 1 month.
Precautions
- Not for infants or children with galactosemia.
- Never use a microwave oven to warm formula. Serious burns can result.
- Powdered infant formulas are not sterile and should not be fed to premature infants or infants who might have immune problems unless directed and supervised by the baby's doctor.
